Page 209 (PDF page 250):

The code listing under Section 11.1 reads `def ##: Int`.  It should read:
`final def ##: Int`.

Page 210 (PDF page 251):

Footnote 1 reads: "The only cases where == is does not directly...". The
word 'is' appears to have wrongfully remained after a rephrasing.
